PML offers two versions of a rear end cover for Ford Sterling 10¼" and 10½" differentials. The only difference is the fin pattern. The part numbers are 9513 and 10816. Use part number 10816 if you will need a matching front end cover.

Both of these rear end covers were designed for the Ford Sterling 10¼ and 10½ inch ring gear, 12 bolt differential. The only difference between these two covers is the fin pattern.

These rear differential covers fit the Sterling rear end found on:

• F250, 1989 and newer
• F350 single rear wheel, 1989 and newer
• Excursion

PML makes front end covers that match part number 10816, which is the second cover pictured. The matching front covers are PML part number 10737, the Dana 50/60 front differential cover (for Excursion, F250 1999 and newer, F350 SRW 1998 and newer) and part number 9426, Dana 60/70 differential cover (for the front differential on F250 1966-1997, F350 SRW 1966-1997).

These covers have holes for drain and fill. A boss on side optionally can be machined for a temperature sensor for an additional cost. Call to order machining and let us know your sensor thread size. The level check hole for this differential is provided by Ford and is located on the driveshaft side of the differential housing.

Richard's F–250 has a custom paint job on the body and he wanted a custom differential cover to match. Richard selected part number 10816 and matching front cover 10737 and did a custom powder coat in shiny red.

To give your pickup a custom look, buy an as-cast differential cover. We irridite our covers so on arrival they are clean and ready to install or to let you be creative as Richard did with his.
