These are sold individually. If you need a set, you will need to pick two.

No, we are not sure what someone will do with one valve cover. If you get two, perhaps you might want to paint or powder coat them to match. Also, some people like them for decoration or craft items out of car parts. There are some big block valve covers with CORVETTE® script sold individually as well.

Special #23 Chevrolet Big Block Valve Cover, Grey Powder Coat (single, not a set, price: $87.50)

This part cannot be sanded or polished because the casting had cosmetic defects in the casting filled in under the powder coat. Fins are not shaved. Flange is about .300" thick.

In the top picture, the scrapes on the powder coat are hard to see. The powder coat is scratched in several places like the area shown in the bottom picture. Flange is about .300" thick.
