We have some single, individual of small block Chevy, pre-1986, perimeter mount valve covers with CORVETTE script, no fins, on sale. These are not sets. These have some problem or defect as described below.

For reference, see the regular Corvette script valve covers. The PML part number is 8357-2.

If you want PML to machine a hole for PCV, breather or oil fill, there is an additional cost. Let us know when you order.

Except for #45, these specials fit and function correctly. They are sold as-is. Please call to order.

Special #45 - Corvette Script, Polished, Single

Special #45 has a warped gasket surface and some porosity. Cover will need some work to correct the gasket surface warpage. The amount of warpage is 0.090 inches. Baffle is cast-in.

Special #75 Corvette Script, Orange Powder Coat, Single

This cover is on special because it has an older version of the current cover. The baffle is not cast-in and the raised script is less raised than on our current covers. Also the "v" is not powder coated at the tip of one end (hard to notice).

Special #107 Corvette Script, Black Crinkle Powder Coat, Single

Special #107 is on special because it has a crinkle black powder coat finish. This was a test for a new powder coat finish. It is more crinkled (rough) than our standard black powder coat. It has a new style baffle and the PCV/breather indent has been machined with a 1-inch thru hole.

Special #108 is on special because it has a crinkle orange powder coat. This was a test for a new powder coat finish. It is more crinkled (rough) than our standard orange powder coat. This cover has an old style baffle with an indent for PCV/breather. It is not machined.

Special #109 Corvette Script, Orange Shiny Powder Coat, Single

Special #108 is on special because it has a shiny orange powder coat. This was a test for a new powder coat finish. It is more shiny than our standard orange powder coat. The script and fins have not been shaved. This cover has an old style baffle with a 1-inch hole machined for PCV/breather.
