We have some sets of small block Chevy, pre-1986, perimeter mount valve covers with CORVETTE script, no fins, on sale. There are also some individual covers (singles) on special. These have some problem or defect as described below.

For reference, see the regular Corvette script valve covers. The PML part number is 8357-2.

If you want PML to machine a hole for PCV, breather or oil fill, there is an additional cost. Let us know when you order.

Except for #47, these specials fit and function correctly. They are sold as-is. Please call to order.

Special #47 - Corvette Script, Polished, Set

Both covers in the set for Special #47 have warped gasket surfaces. One is warped by 0.090 inches and the other by 0.125 inches. Covers will need some work to correct the gasket surface warpage. You can try and bend them back.

Special #105 Corvette Script, Polished, Set

Inside of both covers. One has no internal baffle at all (and no indent for PCV). The other has the new-style baffle with PCV indent.

Special #105 has one cover without any baffle or PCV indent. This cover has some fine pinprick porosity. The second cover has a lot of porosity, mostly small. The second cover has the new style baffling and a PCV indent.
