This A500 transmission is used on the following vehicles:

• 2003 & older Dodge Ram 1500 with 3.9 V6 & some 5.2 V8
• 2003 & older Dodge Dakota and Durango with V6 or 5.2 V8
• 1993-2004 Jeep Cherokee & Grand Cherokee with 6 cylinder
• 1996-2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 5.2 V8

If you own a Jeep, please be aware that Jeep uses both Chrysler and Aisan Warner transmissions. Take a close look at your existing transmission pan to verify that the shape of the pan perimeter and the bolt pattern are the same as the PML pan you intend to order. The AW pan is shaped like a long narrow rectangle. The Chrysler A500 pan has 14 bolts. Some Jeeps have the Chrysler 42RLE transmission which has 13 bolts.

Please check your vehicle to be sure you have room for a larger pan, the exhaust system and frame cross members are the primary concerns. Click here to see an image of an exhaust system and this pan. The pan has cast-in baffles to reduce sloshing, and a boss that can be drilled and tapped for a temperature sensor. The option to have PML drill and tap the boss for a sensor needs to be ordered over the phone, not on-line, and costs $35.

PML Transmission Pan Features:

• Increased oil capacity for cooler temperatures
• Sand-cast aluminum with raised fins
• 3/16-inch thick wall construction to add strength to the transmission case
• 3/8-inch thick gasket flange will not bend when bolts are tightened
• Machined gasket surface for a secure seal
• Boss cast into pan can be machined for a temperature sensor
• Magnetic drain plug for easier, less messy maintenance
• Mounting hardware provided

Gasket and filter not included (use stock parts).
