Number of Bolts: 17 PML's stock capacity transmission pan for Ford C6 transmissions has a low profile for full size 1960's and 1970's cars. PML also makes an extra capacity Ford C6 transmission pan for Ford trucks and SUVs with the C6. The deep pan provides provides extra fluid for F250 and F350 trucks which have more room for a larger pan. A lower profile pan can accomodate more applications and provide the strength and cooling benefits of an cast aluminum transmission pan. The Ford C6 transmission is found on many full size Ford, Lincoln and Mercury cars, for example: 66 – 69 Comet 67 – 78 Cougar 64 – 70 Fairlane 66 – 74 Galaxie 66 – 79 Lincolns 66 – 80 LTD 77 – 79 LTD II 66 – 72 Meteor 68 – 76 Montego 68 – 74 Monterey 66 – 79 Ranchero 66 – 79 Thunderbird 68 – 76 Torino These classic Fords had options for several different transmissions. The C4, Cruise-o-Matic, and manual transmissions were also common. Please verify your transmission and look for any interference with a larger aftermarket pan before ordering.

	Inside of the pan shown here. PML designed this pan to work with stock gaskets and filters. Filter supports are not needed as the filter bolts on to the valve body. The fluid level is at the same place with a PML pan or a stock pan so an extension is not needed.
	This shows two possible filter kits for Ford C6 transmissions. They both include a rubber-cork type gasket, which we recommended for use with a PML transmission pan. These are from Fram and have part numbers FT1025 and FT1037 (longer pick-up spout).
