This pan is on special because the thick boss for 1/8 NPT sticks out and into the flange area.
This boss would most likely hit the drive shaft on 4WD vehicles.
The regular PML pan does have anything sticking out.
The area is drilled and topped for a 1/8 NPT, for a temperature sending unit, for example. A plug for the hole is provided.

This special should fit and function like a regular part.
